Job Summary:
In this role as a Senior Modernization Product Owner, you will join a small, highly-focus team working to develop and maintain signal-processing applications for use in a real-time operational environment. The team members are multi-disciplined and contribute across all phases of systems engineering, software development, integration and test, and metrics. The team works closely with operations personnel to meet unique and continuously evolving development needs.
We are seeking software engineering professionals to work onsite in our Aurora, CO location.
Responsibilities to Anticipate:
  • Have the ability to obtain and maintain a TS/SCI clearance
  • Product ownership responsibilities for a software Modernization Product
  • Have a direct impact on critical operational capability.
  • Experience with the full software lifecycle including design, development, test, delivery, and maintenance
  • Modernize Cloud development practices and utilize Agile processes

Basic Qualifications:
  • Typically requires Bachelor's degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and 10 years of relevant software development experience.
  • Experience as a Product Owner
  • Experience with cloud-based architectures and technologies
  • Experience with DevSecOps delivery paradigms
  • Experience with Atlassian tools
  • Familiar with Docker containers and Kubernetes orchestration
  • Active and transferable Top Secret U.S. government issued security clearance is required prior to start date. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with signal processing systems (FFTs, Tuning, Modulation/Demodulation)
  • Understanding of Software Engineering processes and best practices.
  • Proficiency in object-oriented analysis and design
  • Familiar with Gitlab pipeline

The salary range for this role is 118,000 USD - 246,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.

Specific benefits are dependent upon the specific business unit as well as whether or not the position is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement.

Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company's performance.
This role is a U.S.-based role. If the successful candidate resides in a U.S. territory, the appropriate pay structure and benefits will apply.
