DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
· Design, analyze, and maintain equipment product lines to meet customer requirements and industry specifications.
· Create, revise, and release 3D models, manufacturing drawings, and bills of materials in accordance with company and industry design standards (API, DNV, ABS etc.)
· Create, revise, and release technical documentation – manuals, specifications, test procedures, etc.
· Examine and measure existing equipment and documentation to create new and improved product offerings.
· Conduct or participate in project technical reviews of designs, codes, requirements, and specifications.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS
· A minimum of eight (8) years of experience in mechanical equipment design is required.
· Basic knowledge of mechanical design principals, design tolerances, and GD&T
· Practical knowledge of the manufacturing process
· Proficiency in 2D/3D modeling: AutoCAD, Inventor, Simulation,
· Microsoft Office Suite, Global Shop ERP a plus
· Ability to visualize objects and translate these into two-dimensional forms.
· Ability to multitask and stay organized while working on multiple projects with multiple deadlines with limited supervision.
· Candidates must be able to legally work and reside in the US. without sponsorship
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $75,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
