Senior Manager - US Employee Relations
New York (Hybrid)
180,000 - 200,000 Base + Bonus
Responsibilities
- Cultivate a customer-focused culture to strengthen client relationships and leverage the Bank's resources.
- Manage complex ER/LR cases, applying expertise in the Bank's policies and relevant employment laws.
- Conduct in-depth investigations into serious misconduct allegations, including harassment, discrimination, and security breaches.
- Lead employee interviews, prepare investigative reports, and present findings to Senior Leadership to mitigate legal risks.
- Provide expert guidance on employment issues to employees, managers, and HR partners while ensuring compliance with regulations and policies.
- Support people impact initiatives and contribute to ER optimization projects.
- Conduct HR reviews and deliver training sessions to educate managers on ER processes and best practices.
- Maintain accurate ER case files to defend against potential litigation.
- Align day-to-day activities and decisions with the Bank's risk appetite and regulatory compliance.
- Foster an inclusive and high-performance team environment, promoting the Bank's vision, values, and business strategy.
Skills
- Degree or diploma in HR, Business, or related field.
- 5-7 years of HR or Employee Relations experience.
- Banking experience is preferred.
- Profound understanding of U.S. labor law.
- Exceptional investigation and problem-solving skills. Strong conflict resolution abilities.
- CHRP or CHRL designation is a plus.
