Position: Senior Manager, Sustainability, Clean Operations and Innovation
Location: 1210 S Pine Island Rd Suite 400, Plantation, FL 33324
Duties: Use Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) experience to execute DHL's global ESG strategy for the Americas region. Use experience with Greenhouse Gas Protocol & EN 16258:2012 Greenhouse Gas (GHG) emission calculation standards to communication to various stakeholders, including customers, how we calculate emissions and what methodologies we use. Use experience with Science Based Target initiative (SBTi) methodology to analyze and confirm emission reduction targets, review objectives in the Americas region and propose solutions to achieve targets. Use GRI, SASB, CDP, Ecovadis methodologies for reporting of ESG data. Apply knowledge of EU taxonomy for sustainable activities to act as a main contact in the Americas region for European team. Use AutoCAD to design and review engineering projects. Use Excel to manage data and generate reports. Use MS project to manage projects from start to finish. Up to 25% of domestic and international travel is required to meet with customers, visit project sites, conduct business review meeting, manage vendor relations. May telecommute 50% from any location within normal commuting distance from the employer's worksite. Requirements: Bachelor's degree (or foreign equivalent) in Environmental Engineering or a related discipline plus 2 years of experience in the skill set described above.
