The department is responsible for the development of the Americas long-term demand plan - using statistical models, macroeconomic, internal, and external data - and the S&OP process. Demand Planning closely collaborates with Brand Marketing, Business Units, Finance and Supply. The demand plan is used for manufacturing, financial planning, and business performance.
Core Responsibilities:
The S&OP Manager's core responsibilities include:
- Owning the S&OP process for the Americas market group
- Thoughtfully constructing the S&OP presentation deck, inclusive of insightful ad-hoc analyses and highlighting relevant topics and themes for the cycle. Leading the Regional Demand Review meeting with the Americas leadership team and facilitating decision-making - articulating data and insights - to drive business performance. Coordinating action items and directions coming out of the meeting
- Closely collaborating with Demand Planning and Business Intelligence teams to spotlight risk and opportunities - providing powerful insights, developing the story, and presenting succinctly and compellingly
- Empirically validating and challenging the demand plan to set up the AMS business for success
- Being the voice of AMS Demand Planning in global forums and Supply S&OP. Doing analytics, writing commentary, and working closely with cross-functional teams for global deliverables and requests
- Having a vision for S&OP and driving process maturity - ideating, getting inspiration from best-in-class companies, and spearheading the change management
Do you have what it takes?
- Bachelor's degree in business/supply chain or commensurate experience
- Excellent presentation, influencing, and collaboration skills
- Highly analytical and motivated
- Attention to detail
- Consistently demonstrates individual and team leadership behaviors
- Self-motivated and highly organized
- High degree of curiosity and demonstrated ability to deal with ambiguity
- Knowledge of demand planning or forecasting principles
- 8+ years of supply chain or financial planning experience
- Powerpoint and BI experience
- Experience working in CPG
- Boston office based position; minimum commutable days to office is 3 days per week.
