The Senior Manager is responsible for setting the direction for the Remote Operations Center and Investigations Team. Ensures technology supports strategy. Manager will work with the LP VP to set the Loss Prevention Investigations Strategy. Drives field investigation productivity by establishing actionable reporting measures and influencing leadership accountability. This role is also responsible for the physical security for the corporate office, KIC, photo studio, and SA credit facilities.
Remote Operations Center Leadership
Sets short- and long-term direction for the Remote Operations Center
Directly oversees the functions of the Remote Operations Center.
Drives weekly Loss Prevention internal and external performance
Develop and oversee ROC in the Field
Develop and Oversee Execution of Technology Strategy
Collaborates with key IS and support divisions to incorporate ROC strategies that support other customer/IS Initiatives.
Works with key vendors to develop technology that supports ROC Strategy to drive productivity and detection of theft.
Works with LP L&D to ensure field loss prevention is trained on investigation platforms.
Researches and recommends technology solutions that will detect theft. Formulates pilots to test technology options and develops roll-out strategy for selected technology.
Works closely with KT partnership supporting several LP initiatives
Investigations / Customer Transactions
Directs the team of investigators responsible for detecting internal theft and providing directional guidance to field organization on internal theft.
Provides directional and actionable reports to field loss prevention to ensure internal dishonesty is detected quickly.
Provides refund trends and risks associated with receipted and non-receipted returns. Provides guidance to organization on risks associates with refunds.
Provides guidance on technology improvements to process customer refunds timely and detect fraudulent refunds.
Leadership
Manages direct reports, systems and projects to achieve unit goals in accordance with Company policies and practices.
Prepares and analyzes unit plans and reports.
Provides leadership by exhibiting influence and expertise, thus affecting the results of the operating area.
Creates an effective work environment by developing a common vision, setting clear objectives, expecting teamwork, recognizing outstanding performance and maintaining open communications.
Develops staff through coaching, providing performance feedback, providing effective performance assessments and establishing performance and development plans.
Responsibility of physical security for the corporate office, KIC, photo studio, and SA credit facilities.
Key LP contact for several partner departments, including business continuity, risk, legal, and others
Responsible for building vendor relationships and exploring pilot opportunities.
Required
7+ years of strategic leadership experience.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to negotiate across organizational pyramids.
Ability to negotiate with external law enforcement agencies.
Strong analytical skills.
Preferred
Bachelor's Degree.
Financial/accounting background.
Field Loss Prevention leadership experience.
Strong technology background.
