Department Overview
Salesforce's Alliances & Channels (A&C) Transformation Team is designed to lead the Alliances & Channels organization transformation journey. There are 3 main functions to the team:

  • Transformation Program Office: drive program governance framework & operating model inclusive of key stakeholders, communication strategy & execution, integration to dependent programs & organizations (e.g. direct sales transformation).
  • Roadmap Development & Integration: create & maintain forward looking roadmap for A&C's Partner Transformation, inclusive of integration to our seller experience transformation. Roadmap is inclusive of Reseller, Consulting and Partner Programs
  • Business Architecture: develop & maintain A&C personas, pain points, process maps and business case in scope to drive Salesforce's A&C Transformation. Drive a value-led approach to prioritize key capabilities needed to transform A&C for future revenue growth across reseller, consulting and partner programs

Role Overview
Salesforce is seeking a Senior Manager to drive Business Architecture across our Consulting, Reseller and Outsourced Service Provider Partner Segments. To continue leading the industry in AI+Data+CRM, Salesforce must transform the way we Go-To-Market with our customers and our partners. This role will be responsible for driving Business Architecture for the A&C Transformation Program, inclusive of process definition, Partner Segmentation, Persona definition, value definition and value realization.
The Senior Manager, Business Architect is highly effective at planning, prioritization, executive-level relationship management, analyzing, and driving results. They define the guiding principles, business case value levers and vision for how Salesforce's A&C org needs to transform to keep the market leading position for future profitable growth. They demonstrate excellent communication skills and have the ability to engage with and become a trusted advisor to senior executive level stakeholders. Their program management expertise, team management and collaboration skills drive a productive environment for immediate team members & stakeholders to thrive. This role calls for a strong, proactive, value-first leader who thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment and loves working with the best technology team in the world.
Your Impact
  • Lead Business Architecture for multiple workstreams across A&C's Transformation, inclusive (but not limited to) of process redesign, key personas, pain point identification & resolution, business case definition & management, and communications strategy & execution
  • Participate in defined Governance Model, Roadmap process & Business Architecture function for Salesforce's A&C org
  • Build relationships with key executive level collaborators both internally and externally with partners.
  • Deeply understand the A&C Transformation roadmap, processes & personas, pain points and business case across Resale, OSP, Consulting and Partner Programs.
  • Drive the definition & execution of assigned workstreams, to serve as a structure for how to manage the transformation across our cross-functional stakeholder groups
  • Provide input to the A&C Transformation Roadmap of capabilities, inclusive of its integration to the direct seller experience
  • Know the Salesforce A&C stakeholders & effortlessly navigate across them as defined within the A&C Transformation Program Office & Governance framework
  • Become intimately familiar with PRM Product Capabilities in the context of the A&C Transformation roadmap, and how they enable value for our A&C personas, direct personas and partners.
  • Lead cross-functional governance forums across executive stakeholder audiences
  • Work cross-functionally and within the team to execute, quickly addressing issues with strong mitigation plans.
  • Keep all stakeholders informed of your vision and plan.

Required Qualifications
  • 5+ years of experience in the technology industry, with a specific focus on front office transformation in a direct & indirect sales environment
  • 5+ years of hands on experience with the Salesforce platform & the Salesforce ecosystem
  • 3+ years as a Partner Account Manager, Partner Sales Manager, or similar role managing large Partner relationships across industries
  • Previous experience leading Partner & Customer Transformation programs in large, highly matrixed organizations
  • Experience working with large Channel, Sales, IT, & Finance organizations
  • Excellent communications and interpersonal abilities to collaborate optimally with executive level stakeholders. Exceptional communication and presentation skills.
  • Strong relationship management, influencing and driving to success skills, with the ability to effectively engage with VP+ level executives
  • Excellent program management experience including ability to create & maintain large, complex program governance models, executive dashboards, complex excel files, etc.
  • Ability to bring together diverse individuals to achieve a common goal, overcome hurdles, and get results
  • Exceptional analytical, problem-solving and decision-making skills
  • Available to travel regionally and internationally up to 25% of the time
  • Degree or equivalent relevant experience required. Experience will be evaluated based on the core competencies for the role (e.g. extracurricular leadership roles, military experience, volunteer roles, work experience, etc.).

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with Salesforce Sales Cloud, Partner Relationship Management & Slack; especially using these capabilities in the context of an Alliances & Channels organization
  • Experience leading teams & deliverables as part of a Partner or Sales transformation
  • Experience working with Product & IT teams in an Agile methodology
  • Experience in consulting, inclusive of System Integration & Management Consulting, at a Global System Integrator

For New York-based roles, the base salary hiring range for this position is $164,000 to $225,500.
For Washington-based roles, the base salary hiring range for this position is $150,300 to $206,700.
Compensation offered will be determined by factors such as location, level, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Certain roles may be eligible for incentive compensation, equity, benefits.
