The Senior Manager of Restaurant IT Systems is the subject matter expert on point of sale and integrations. Coordinates with IT team on ways to use the current point of sale and improve for the future. Provides leadership, development, and training to the support team.
This position will be involved in programming and installing systems as well as looking for "Best in class" digital solutions.
Main Areas of Responsibility:
Responsible for optimizing current POS system for operational efficiency. This includes understanding all facets of integration with other products from Kiosk to catering. Participates in IT and business processes reviews to drive continual improvement of all solutions and processes.
• Provides technical leadership and manages all facets of the restaurant IT systems from POS, to catering tech stack, enterprise systems and back-office reporting.
• Proven track record of leadership that involves proactive steps for continual maintenance and follow up on existing restaurant tech stack with an eye for future improvements that enhance the overall guest experience.
• Configure, deploy, and train Point of Sale system (NCR Aloha)projects including hardware and software installations, upgrades, and integrationswith other platforms.
• Lead the restaurant IT support team to be "proactive" vs. "reactive". Developing each team member to be subject matter experts in the areas they naturally excel
• Manages Vendor partners including weekly meetings with NCR Aloha, Grubber Kiosk and Olo to deliver projects, resolve issues, and ensure we are continually improving and staying up to date on upgrades.
• Demonstrates knowledge of Restaurant operations and a good overall understanding of the ways technology can be used to improve the level of customer satisfaction and operational efficiency.
• Collaborates with Leadership Team and Support Team to provide support and solutions to our teams in the field.
• Oversees restaurant technology checks to stay on top of potential issues and be proactive in finding solutions. Listen to operations on "blockers" they experience in the tech space and look for solutions that remove frustration.
• New Restaurant Opening - Leads the charge in Restaurant Tech stack set up, NCR Aloha set up, configuration, installation and support for New Restaurant Openings including being on site for installation and opening. Responsible for ordering and deployment.
• Supports and maintains all regulated and internal compliance requirements. In addition, partners with cross functional teams to advance IT management for maintaining compliance across all spectrums of in-store technology.
• Creates a culture within the support team to deliver best in class support experience with the ability to communicate and remove frustration for a diverse group of individuals and personalities.
• Oversees and provides support for all restaurants, home office and call center teams including on-call hours.
What we are looking for:
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in information systems or business.
• High energy with an attitude of servant leadership and respect for all team members.
• Microsoft 365 experience.
• Restaurant experience, ability to understand business flow and operations.

• Ability to travel for New Restaurant Openings and provide support when needed.
• Ability to meet the physical requirements involved in installing and working on a POS system and other Systems during store visits.
