Salary: $120,000 - $150,000 per year

A bit about us:

We are currently seeking a highly experienced Senior Manager of Financial Reporting and Technical Accounting to join our dynamic accounting team. Reporting directly to the Chief Accounting Officer, this pivotal role will oversee the Company's Financial Reporting processes, ensuring accuracy, transparency, and compliance.
Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the preparation of GAAP-based financial statements, including Balance Sheet, Comprehensive Income Statement, Cash Flow Statement, and Statement of Changes in Shareholders Equity.
• Manage Quarterly footnote disclosures and contribute to Management’s Discussion and Analysis.
• Conduct pre- and post-consolidation analyses.
• Drive internal reporting and Business Segment analyses.
• Take charge of equity management, encompassing maintenance of the Capitalization Table, stock-based compensation, and calculation of Earnings Per Share.

Additionally, the Director will be expected to:

• Provide Technical Accounting analysis and document critical accounting matters arising from business-driven events or transactions.
• Oversee external financial and government grant audits as necessary.
• Support the close process for month, quarter, and year-end activities.
• Approve journal entries and reconciliations for Technical Accounting matters.
• Conduct internal control assessments, document processes, and identify optimization opportunities.

Job Details

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field.
• CPA certification is mandatory.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in external reporting and Technical Accounting research.
• Strong coaching, mentoring, evaluation, and training skills.
• Prior experience in public accounting is highly preferred.
• Proficient in GAAP, SEC regulations, and Sarbanes-Oxley requirements.
• Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office suite: Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
