We are seeking a Solution Marketer who is passionate about launching products that customers love. You will work with a cross-functional teams to launch SAP product bundles, crucial for achieving our company’s Midmarket vision and strategy. The Midmarket customer segment is an exciting new customer acquisition engine for SAP, encompassing accounts below the Enterprise level, with a global revenue range of €250 million to €1 billion.

 

Key Responsibilities:

As a Solution Marketer, you will be instrumental in translating the SAP Midmarket strategy into a cohesive, audience-centric go-to-market approach. Your responsibilities encompass orchestrating solution launch go-to market activities, including crafting audience-specific value propositions and messaging, generating marketing and sales enablement content, and identifying target industries, accounts, and whitespace opportunities.

 

To excel in this role, you will need to bring your strong execution skills, business acumen, and the ability to navigate a complex matrixed organization structure. Curiosity, working with ambiguity, and drive for results are also key. You will collaborate with a wide range of stakeholders and cross-functional teams, including solution management, sales/customer success, field marketing, as well as corporate marketing, integrated demand generation, customer experience, partner marketing, and customer advocacy organizations.

 

Market & Business Situation

  • Learn market fundamentals, competitive landscape, whitespace opportunities, and global business objectives.
  • Develop an in-depth understanding of the customer pain points and our product portfolio to create a differentiated value proposition and messaging, tailored to the Midmarket audience.
  • Leverage internal and external data to make informed recommendation for product launch activities.

 

Go-to-Market Strategy & Execution:

  • Co-develop clear and compelling product messaging and positioning that resonates with the Midmarket customer segment and effectively communicate the value of our solutions.
  • Create detailed product launch plans, including timelines, milestones, and responsibilities, and ensure go-to-market activities seamless execution.
  • Create field enablement materials that empower sales and marketing teams to maximize customer value and to drive demand.
  • Collaborate with product management, sales, corporate marketing, customer advocacy, events, and partner Marketing, and other teams to develop comprehensive go-to-market plans for SaaS offerings.
  • Scope and prioritize activities based on their potential business and customer impact.
  • Define and track key performance indicators to evaluate the success of go-to-market strategies. Analyze data and feedback for continues improvement.

 

Specialized Knowledge & Skills

 

  • Minimum 4 - 7 years of related experience in product/Solution Marketing or digital marketing or field marketing
  • Action oriented project leadership, especially with medium to large-scaled projects.
  • Bachelor’s degree required, MBA optional.
  • Relevant domain experience in B2B technology and software-as-a-service business models.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills and ability to interpret market data and customer feedback.
  • Action-oriented and independent with strong project leadership skills (medium to large-scaled projects)
  • Proven track record of managing all aspects of a successful product launch and ongoing support.
  • Proven ability to develop Solution Marketing go-to-market strategies and effectively communicate recommendations at various stakeholder levels.
  • Flexibility and willingness to prioritize and effectively manage a broad variety of time sensitive products and initiatives.
  • Strong communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills including influential leadership decisions.
  • Cultural awareness and ability to accommodate different time zones.

Compensation Range Transparency: SAP believes the value of pay transparency contributes towards an honest and supportive culture and is a significant step toward demonstrating SAP’s commitment to pay equity. SAP provides the annualized compensation range inclusive of base salary and variable incentive target for the career level applicable to the posted role. The targeted combined range for this position is 97,000 - 213,800 USD. The actual amount to be offered to the successful candidate will be within that range, dependent upon the key aspects of each case which may include education, skills, experience, scope of the role, location, etc. as determined through the selection process. Any SAP variable incentive includes a targeted dollar amount and any actual payout amount is dependent on company and personal performance.
