Overview

We are currently looking for a Sr. Manager HR Operations Excellence in Richmond, VA, but are open to a remote work arrangement.
What you will be doing:
•Championing HR operations and service delivery improvement opportunities both long-term and ad-hoc to drive operational efficiency, build scalable solutions, and improve employee experience using validated techniques (Agile, PMP, ADKAR, etc.)
•Leading the delivery of HR technology and related projects across all HR domains in partnership with Information Systems
•Strategy development for the future of service delivery to include working with HR Shared Services team and groups across HR to understand current difficulties and remediate using HR technology and/or process improvement
•Leading a team to analyze and document policies, processes, procedures, and operational methods to find opportunities for operational excellence via automation and process improvement
•Performing benchmarking to maintain an outstanding suite of HR tools and resources and stay current on HR Operations and Technology trends.
•Prioritizing employee experience excellence in developing short and long-term technology roadmaps to deliver agile HR technology solutions that balance the strategic and operational needs of the enterprise
•Serving as the HR day to day lead on an enterprise cloud based HCM implementation (e.g., SuccessFactors, Workday), to include vendor selection and vendor management
•Observing current HR systems and tools - providing clients with recommendations on upgrade strategies and opportunities to use systems to their full capability
•Applying consultive techniques to understand user needs and business processes into system requirements and/or development of systems solutions
•Being a change agent for new technology, processes, or policies; to include developing communications strategies, training, and job aids
•Performing some day-to-day system administration, including design and configuration, maintaining user and group roles, security settings, access settings, etc. Also troubleshooting, system issues that arise.
We want you to have:
•Bachelor's Degree or equivalent; preferred areas of expertise include HR and/or Computer Science/IT
•10+ years of HR or IS project management or process improvement with a strong preference for HRIS cloud-based solutions implementation experience
•Demonstrated experience in HR Transformation and implementing Human Resources Service Delivery methodologies
•People leadership experience, including developing diverse impactful remote teams
•Excellent interpersonal skills, with ability to bridge functional and technical messaging
•Functional knowledge of HR business processes and HRIS modules.
•Ability to structure and manage complex multi-functional projects and processes with multiple partners at both senior and junior levels using project management methodology and a solid understanding of Agile principles and the software development life cycle
•Ability to influence people and lead change using proven change management methodologies
•Strong analytical and technical skills, including solid understanding of Microsoft Office, to include sophisticated knowledge of MS Excel
