Summary: Lead strategic insights team responsible for identifying and interpreting primary and secondary brand, golfer, product, and industry research. Establish global data gathering strategies, KPIs and technology/visualization tools used to analyze inputs efficiently and effectively. Partner closely with key stakeholders to develop business and media recommendations for the Titleist golf balls, golf clubs and golf gear.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with executive and category stakeholders to develop long-term plan for data-informed leadership. Partner with product category leaders to assess goals and help to determine research strategies that align with those goals.
- Act as main liaison to technology organization to set business data analysis goals and research internal/external tools/services that elevate data collection and analysis capabilities.
- Partner with internal Media Team to establish paid media benchmarks and best practices and develop rigorous evaluation criteria in partnership with external Media Agency.
- Lead the organizational research roadmap, manage workload, and project prioritization and act as professional development advocate for two direct reports.
- Provide direction to global markets on U.S. insights roadmap and identify opportunities for collaborations. Work closely with global marketing teams to establish meaningful and attainable in-market Golfer Insights goals.
- Represent the organization with the golf industry research and data community such as NGF, Datatech, Pellucid, etc. Attend industry events and serve as advocate for Acushnet Company organizational goals and objectives.
- Collaborate with Brand Team and Finance to develop and maintain long-range global insights budget.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree required; master's preferred.
- Minimum of 8 years of consumer research experience
- Some domestic travel approximately 5% of time.
- Strong golf knowledge and passion for the game required. Exceptional attention to detail.
