Overview /Objective

Reporting to the Director of Global Brand and Consumer Marketing, the NFL is seeking a Senior Manager to help lead and execute marketing programs for League events and NFL Network programming. This includes, but is not limited to, Kickoff, Super Bowl, Draft, Pro Bowl Games, Training Camp, Schedule Release, and NFL Network Exclusive Games. 

The successful candidate is a strong communicator, works well under pressure, adapts easily to shifting needs, and is well organized and detail oriented. In addition - the candidate should have previous experience across media (consumption), brand, and event (ticketing/attendance) marketing work. 

Responsibilities

  • Help set the strategy, define key objectives and KPIs, and develop marketing creative and materials related to the NFL's core business. 
  • Develop clear initiative timelines that will drive the team's day-to-day execution of marketing plans to realize initiative goals.
  • Create well-developed marketing briefs, and verbally brief other marketing teams, including but not limited to, social, influencer, and performance marketing, to ensure the holistic planning around campaigns. 
  • Lead the development of integrated marketing plans across paid, owned, earned, and partner media, to hit campaign goals and objectives.
  • Manage internal and external partner relationships from all phases of planning to post-campaign reporting. 
  • Deliver thought-leadership, bring new ideas around all areas of work to help deliver and hit campaign goals. 
  • Analyze multiple data sources to support, implement with internal teams and Media agencies by leading ongoing campaign optimization.
  • The position requires a superior attention to detail, strong project and program management skills and the ability to oversee time sensitive deliverables. 

Required Qualifications

  • 7+ years brand, event, and consumption-based marketing experience within the sports or entertainment field.
  • 3+ years of team management experience.  Demonstrated expertise in building and coaching a team of marketing professionals.
  • Exceptional communication skills (Oral and Written).  Comfortable conversing and presenting to senior leadership.
  • Proactive, resourceful, self-starter.
  • Ability to work under tight deadlines, prioritize, and execute. 
  • BA/BS from top undergraduate university.

Salary / Pay Range

The NFL expects to hire for this position near the middle of the range. Only in truly rare and exceptional circumstances, where an external candidate has experience, credentials or expertise that far exceed those required or expected for the position, would the NFL consider paying a salary or rate near the higher end of the range. 

Terms / Expected Hours of Work

  • FSLA Exempt 
  • NFL employees are required to work 40 hours per week.
