Job DescriptionAbout the role:

The Senior Manager US Field Medical Excellence Operations will serve as a key member of the US Field Medical leadership team, playing an important role in driving the success of US Field Medical. This individual will oversee US Field Medical operations, processes, and resources to enhance departmental effectiveness and efficiency.

How you will contribute:
  • Assist with planning, operations, and logistics of US Field Medical department-wide training programs.
  • In partnership with US Field Medical leaders, design and oversee a forum for regularly sharing best practices/learnings across US Field Medical therapeutic area teams.
  • Assist with implementation and execution of department-wide processes.
  • Oversee US Field Medical KOL/HCP engagement monitoring recordkeeping, ensuring documentation is completed on time and appropriately maintained.
  • Serve as US Field Medical liaison to US Medical Operations to support departmental annual budget planning and tracking, vendor contracting, purchasing, and invoicing processes.
  • Create and maintain US Field Medical job descriptions and job postings using aligned templates.
  • Oversee US Field Medical department-wide and leadership meetings planning and execution.
  • Oversee US Field Medical equipment ordering process, ensuring optimal resource allocation.
  • Assist US Field Medical leaders with designing and maintaining a forum/process for obtaining US Field Medical employee feedback and implementing practical, cost-effective solutions to address departmental needs and challenges.
  • Assist with US Field Medical systems issues escalation, resolution tracking, and communications to US Field Medical employees.
  • Assist with implementation of US Field Medical systems and technology changes and enhancements.
  • Enhance, implement, and oversee US Field Medical departmental communications (e.g., US Field Medical Sharepoint, meetings, newsletters, etc.).
  • Assist with design and maintenance of US Field Medical department-wide activities dashboards and reports.
Minimum Requirements/Qualifications:
  • Doctoral degree in life/health sciences is preferred (PharmD, MD, PhD, or equivalent). Master’s degree in health sciences (e.g., MSN, NP, or PA) is the minimum requirement.
  • Thorough understanding of and experience working in the pharmaceutical industry, Medical Affairs, and Field Medical.
  • Excellent project and time management and organizational skills. History of meeting project deadlines and objectives.
  • Proven record of working independently, teamwork, collaboration, and influencing/working in a matrix environment to accomplish goals and objectives.
  • Excellent communication (written and verbal) skills.
  • Discretion and trustworthiness in dealing with confidential information.
  • Must be able to execute with speed and high quality.
  • Experience managing vendors to ensure work is delivered on time and on budget.
  • Demonstrated business acumen, analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Demonstrated understanding of compliance, ethical, legal, and regulatory guidelines impacting the pharmaceutical industry, Medical Affairs, and Field Medical.

TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS:

  • Ability to drive and/or fly to meetings is required.
  • Must be available to travel up to 40% of time, including some overnight and weekend.

For Location:

Massachusetts - Virtual

U.S. Base Salary Range:

$133,000.00 - $209,000.00

The estimated salary range reflects an anticipated range for this position. The actual base salary offered may depend on a variety of factors, including the qualifications of the individual applicant for the position, years of relevant experience, specific and unique skills, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held, and the location in which the applicant lives and/or from which they will be performing the job.The actual base salary offered will be in accordance with state or local minimum wage requirements for the job location.

U.S. based employees may be eligible for short-term and/or long-termincentives. U.S.based employees may be eligible to participate in medical, dental, vision insurance, a 401(k) plan and company match, short-term and long-term disability coverage, basic life insurance, a tuition reimbursement program, paid volunteer time off, company holidays, and well-being benefits, among others. U.S.based employees are also eligible to receive, per calendar year, up to 80 hours of sick time, and new hires are eligible to accrue up to 120 hours of paid vacation.
