Job Summary:


The Senior Manager Demand and Inventory Planning oversees operations and assists employees in the performance of their job duties such as responding to inquiries, resolving issues or concerns. The Senior Manager Demand Planning and Inventory Planning has the primary objective of driving the vision for company and customer standards. The Senior Manager Demand Planning and Inventory Planning is accountable for shaping and delivering the business’s production in order to drive the overall performance of the department. The Senior Manager Demand Planning and Inventory Planning balances company and customer demands with delivery and execution. The Senior Manager Demand Planning and Inventory Planning ensures that our products and services meet all necessary requirements before they reach the consumer. The Senior Manager Demand Planning and Inventory Planning oversees cost effectiveness, productivity, and the provision of company and customer demands that nurture continuous improvement. The Senior Manager Demand Planning and Inventory Planning is responsible for implementing quality assurance principles and practices throughout the company. Senior Manager Demand Planning and Inventory Planning duties are to oversee the daily operations of the planning department as they analyze customer and vendor demand along the supply chain and develop ways to forecast future demand. Your responsibilities are to review purchase history, sales history, and different marketing strategies your employer has used to promote products and stimulate growth and evaluate their effectiveness. Senior Manager Demand Planning and Inventory Planning responsible for applying extensive knowledge of principles, theories, concepts, and industry practices in the area of the Demand Planning process. Responsible for all forecasting activities associated with internal and external customers and products. Creates and maintains forecasting models utilizing business intelligence and forecast data gathered from business functions/teams at various levels, horizons, and intervals. Accountable for monitoring performance of the process and continuous improvement in output, accuracy, and bias. The Senior Manager Demand Planning and Inventory Planning highly skilled and confident professional with a proven track record in forecast and demand planning leadership roles.  As the Senior Manager of Planning, you will oversee all strategic planning initiatives, collaborate with cross functional teams, and develop comprehensive strategies to drive forecast accuracy and planning efficiencies.


Duties/Responsibilities:


  • Lead forecasting and Inventory Planning process to meet organizational forecasting and inventory KPIs.
  • Provide strategic guidance to senior management and other stakeholders on all forecasting and demand planning projects.
  • Drive monthly S&OP process.
  • Addressing demand-related issues in a timely and effective manner.
  • Assisting in developing annual budgets and streamlining costs.
  • Maintaining demand planning processes to improve forecast accuracy.
  • Updating forecasts for new products, core products, discounts, and promotions.
  • Manage monthly reconciliation (revenue vs budget vs forecast) process with sales teams and management.
  • Partner with Finance to manage inventory levels and cash flow objectives.
  • Analyze inventory productivity and recommend adjustments by category.
  • Develop and implement product inventory plans that deliver sufficient quantities to ensure adequate product flow based on business trends. Recommend and execute inventory re-balancing opportunities as necessary to most effectively flow goods.
  • Accurately forecast and communicate future demands based on current performance. Identify risks and opportunities.
  • Identify exit strategies for non-productive inventory to maximize gross margin dollars by recommending markdown opportunities after reviewing product performance with brand leaders.
  • Create and maintain all Planning and inventory KPI’s to monitor the health of the business.
  • Utilize data-driven insights (market trends, consumer behavior, industry data) to recommend strategic adjustments and improvements.
  • Expand and elevate the use of NetSuite MRP.

  • Tasks will be performed using and in the proximity of coolers, stoves, and other hot equipment
