Senior Manager, Corporate Communications

Position Purpose

The Senior Manager, Corporate Communications will provide general support and direction of company resources associated with Corporate Communications, marketing and sales under the supervision of the Chief Marketing Officer.

Duties/Responsibilities

• Develop communication plans and campaigns for Sagicor’s producers, agencies and clients in close collaboration with senior business leaders, particularly the SVP Sales.
• Manage and maintain corporate websites, both field and consumer facing, including ADA accessibility, user experience, and metric tracking.
• Manage marketing material development and execution for product updates and launches, working closely with Sales, Product, Actuarial and Technology.
• Manage internal communications by liaising with senior leadership and Human Resources to maintain consistency in messaging across all channels.
• Manage a team to develop creative campaigns and materials, including management of Creative and Design associates.
• Write and manage the brand position and messaging in conjunction with the Chief Marketing Officer, while maintaining industry and brand required compliance and disclosure on all communications.
• Develop and track metrics for marketing programs.
• Develop and manage the company’s marketing budget.
• Manage and execute social media strategy.
• Manage relationship with external sources (PR Newswire, etc) for press releases.
• Assist in the preparation of materials, data, and metrics for board presentations.

Accountabilities

• Primary responsibility is to help lead external Corporate Communications efforts.
• Must ensure on-time delivery of all projects and materials.
• Must follow brand/corporate standards while creating all material.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or advance degree with a minimum of 5-10 years of experience within the life insurance and/or annuity industry (Communications, Business Management or similar degree or designation preferred).
• Possess knowledge in insurance operations, procedures, products, sales distribution channels, sales environments and techniques.
• Ability to provide recommendations.
• Ability to create and grow a high-performing Corporate Communications team.
• Strong project management skills, including knowledge of Asana.
• Strong computer skills and technical knowledge in Corporate Communications, product marketing, and promotional strategies, including Hootsuite, Adobe, Constant Contact.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Excellent interpersonal skills.
• Must hold a valid passport within one year of expiration.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $110,000.00 - $140,000.00 per year
