We are currently seeking aSenior Manager, BPE Quality Assurance Logistics, this position is Remote in the USA. Preference to Eastern and Central states to align with global partners.

What you will do
The is role is responsible for leading the design and deployment of key transformation programs in partnership with the GLO IT transformation team across the Global Logistics and Operations footprint. As the Quality Assurance SME accountable for the end-to-end Quality Assurance workstream, will work to partner and influence key cross-functional stakeholders (IT, Operations, Quality, Legal, Indirect Procurement) and contributing to the successful end-to-end execution of transformation programs (e.g. distribution center start-up and moves, local and enterprise system integrations, transitions from insource to outsource logistics operations). This includes the requirements definition, change management activities, communication, and ultimately a smooth and successful hand over to business operations to run and operate. Will be responsible for the leadership and directing of high complexity programs for GLO Business Transformation, which often requires considerable resources and high levels of functional integration. Responsibility for all GQO Quality aspects of the project from due diligence, integration planning, integration execution. Interfaces with all stakeholders affected by the program, including GLO, GQO Quality base business leadership and divisional quality partners.
  • Own the Quality Assurance workstream for transformation programs serving as the RAQA SME while collaborating closely with the Global RAQA leader and GLO, GQO, & divisional RAQA teams to ensure alignment on capability needs, operational requirements, comprehensive testing scenarios, and hypercare support.
  • Responsible for requirement definition for Quality Assurance including quality & commercial hold & release process, inspection requirements (inbound / outbound), dangerous goods.
  • Responsible for executing all program activities to ensure quality teams (insource or outsource) are prepared for cut over including process development / changes, day in the life, UAT, training.
  • Key functional expert for end-to-end Quality Assurance for successful delivery of transformation programs, responsible for delivering program milestones on time and on budget, identifying and mitigating risks and dependencies throughout solution design and execution.
  • Responsible for understanding and mapping current state processes and designing future state and applying past learnings to continuously improve future designs.
  • Responsible for authoring URS documents in partnership with IT to document system & testing requirements aligned with future state design and business requirements.
  • Responsible for program hypercare support by capturing, prioritizing, and triaging issues and providing timely feedback and resolution.
  • Creates and maintains appropriate program documentation (e.g. charter, roadmap, benefits map, etc.) to meet business goals and program objectives.
  • Coordinates with partners and end users to deliver values to business through opportunity identification, solution delivery, and ongoing support.
  • Responsible for budget estimation and CER model inputs, program budget estimation, monitoring, and attainment.
  • Develop QMS integration strategy based on business strategy, compliance gaps identified, and corporate integration procedures. Plan should include alignment to Stryker systems and GQO QA business processes.
  • Influence alignment of overall business transformation strategy with GLO & Quality plans; identify, communicate, and resolve trade-offs to achieve program success. Communicates and sets expectations across divisions, functions, third party vendors, consulting partners, project teams, and stakeholders depending on program needs.
  • Responsible for portfolio resource planning including workload allocation and capacity planning to help determine project sequencing in the program. Assess trade-offs for changes to project scope, schedule, and costs that - impact the program and related projects.
  • Act as an escalation point, drives collaboration with program and project team members to resolve conflicts, project issues, and deviations to drive them to resolution.
  • Seeks ways to continually improve processes from lessons learned, bench marking, community discussions, etc. to meet or exceed organizational and customer needs.
  • May be responsible for managing project managers and project personnel, as well as leading indirect resources.
  • Collaborate effectively cross-functionally and with 3PL stakeholders to ensure end to end alignment on transformation program requirements, success criteria, and maintaining consistent and effective communication channels.
  • Design, mature, and drive Stryker's logistics transformation roadmap strategy (in line with the applicable Medical Device Directives, applicable ISO standards, Sarbanes-Oxley, FCPA, Trade Compliance, VAT, Health & Safety, and any other local & international laws, rules & regulations while delivering bottom line benefit).
  • Partner in the development, modification and improvement of the overall Stryker distribution network, procedures, policies, processes, and the development of new services to increase external and internal customer satisfaction and lower overall costs. This in close collaboration / cooperation with other (relevant) functions.
  • Drives a culture of continuous improvement, accountability, and performance throughout the organization of responsibility.
  • Identifies best practices, leading to the implementation of innovative ideas that drive progress and continuous improvement.
  • Promotes compliance with Stryker values and ethics.

What you need
  • A bachelor's degree in business administration, Supply Chain, Life Sciences, Engineering or equivalent.
  • A post-graduate qualification in Warehousing, Logistics or Operations preferred.
  • Minimum 12 years of professional experience.
  • Minimum of 10 years relevant quality experience in GMP/GDP manufacturing/distribution environment in Med-Tech, Medical Device, Pharma, Automotive or Aerospace industry.
  • APICS certification preferred.
  • Formal training in (and experience with) Lean, Process Excellence, Six Sigma tools.
  • Must have strong understanding of Quality Assurance processes and policies, and technical understanding of quality principles.
  • Experience in quality management systems is essential.
  • Prior experience in influencing multiple teams and groups across an international organization.
  • High sense of customer service orientation.
  • Well versed in Microsoft Office tools including Word, Excel and Power Point; Visio or other flow-charting software and/or Microsoft Project (preferred).
  • Demonstrated ability to build relationships that help achieve results and influence employees/managers at every level of the organization.

  • $109,000- $179,000 salary plus bonus eligible + benefits. Actual minimum and maximum may vary based on location. Individual pay is based on skills, experience, and other relevant factors.

Travel Percentage: 40%
