The Senior Beverage Manager controls the organization, management and administration of beverage operations. Interacts with fellow team members, and supervisors in a polite, courteous and hospitable manner to ensure gracious hospitality.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF THE POSITION INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:
- Maintain professional appearance standards as directed in the Tao Group Hospitality Employee Handbook.
- Responsible for the administration of beverage programs to uphold company image and drive quality guest experiences.
- Mentors FOH Managers and Beverage Managers in their development and understanding of beverage operations.
- Oversees the implementation of operational systems such as well set up guides, batching recipes, and opening/closing checklists in collaboration with beverage managers and head bartenders.
- Leads strategic beverage trainings for all bartenders with a focus on consistency and employee engagement
- Executes a quarterly competitive market analysis to align with seasonal menu changes
- Leads cocktail development initiatives for all venues in collaboration with corporate beverage team and beverage managers
- Participation and input towards marketing activities with the Director of Event Marketing.
- Demonstrates strong knowledge and ability to maintain all Tao Group Hospitality beverage systems
- Participates in the menu development of new concepts and expansion of current brands.
- Ensure a professional attitude and proper business attire when on property.
- Experience/Skills:
- Previous Food & Beverage experience in a leadership role.
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to work cohesively as part of a team.
- Strong interpersonal and problem-solving abilities.
- Attends and participates in any training sessions or departmental meetings.

Training Requirements:
- Tao Group Hospitality Beverage Manager training, Alcohol Awareness Certificate, Food Handling Certificate.
Minimum Education and Qualifications:
- Previous Food & Beverage experience in a leadership role.
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to work cohesively as part of a team.
- Strong interpersonal and problem-solving abilities.
