Senior Maintenance Technician

Senior industrial maintenance technician New Bedford Ma area $30-$36 per hour depends on experience

Must have leadership and some supervisory experience in a manufacturing maintenance environment.

• Diagnose and repair machines
• some PLC experience
• identifies and implements machine and reliability improvements
• identifies proper machine replacement components and spare parts
• serves as a lead supervisor to other technicians providing guidance when necessary
• Qualifies lockout/tagout procedures
• maintains machine repair and maintenance records
• performs equipment inspection and repair
• preforms predictive , preventative and corrective maintenance
• communicates efforts with operations and other departments
• lock out / tag out
• confirmed space and other safety procedures with operations
• maintains tools and equipment in good working order
• responsible for housekeeping in assigned work areas
• background in Industrial maintenance 10 + yrs. working in an industrial Maint. environment
• Electrical , hydraulics, pneumatics schematics
• Fluid power
• Industrial electricity AC , DC, servo systems and PLC controls
• welding ( arc , Mig, Tig resistance, inductive and ultrasonic
• HVAC systems
• forklift operation
• OSHA 30 certification
• Computerized management maintenance software systems
• automation and data management systems
