Senior Logistics Solutions Manager (Hybrid)
As the Senior Logistics Solutions Manager, you will be joining PlayStations Global Supply Chain Organization, working within the Global Logistics Group. In this role, you will have the opportunity to build a comprehensive understanding of PlayStation's Global Logistics & Supply Chain operations. This highly analytical role requires the ability to deliver solutions that improve the transport and fulfillment capabilities of the PlayStation Business, focusing on how they interact with the Supply Chain and business operations, whilst supporting key internal stakeholders and teams.
RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Review and Analyze Logistics & Operations data globally, identifying opportunities for improvement and efficiency generation in processes and systems.
  • Develop, modernize, and take full ownership of all Logistics Metrics, KPI Bowlers and Dashboards, and ensure they are simple, accessible, and useful for all internal customers as well as the Supply Chain Senior Leadership team.
  • Centralized owner within the Logistics Group for providing data for setting the Logistics Budget and controls, aligning with FP&A. Responsible for pulling together Monthly Actuals, or more regularly where feasible, by liaising with FP&A contacts, then updating the central logistics metrics platform and dashboards.
  • Development of data analytics programs to support improvement activities for internal teams. Complete modelling & analytics exercises in support of, and collaboration with cross-functional Supply Chain teams, automated where possible to provide key insights to global stakeholders on major and minor change activities - focusing on areas such as cost-to-serve, capacity, volumetrics, routing, Center-of-Gravity modelling, Planning, and NPI amongst others.
  • Gather requirements from key internal stakeholders and customers, utilize all available data sources, and provide strategic options for logistics activity improvements. Responsible for developing a roadmap of activities and then delivering to said Roadmap.
  • Take the lead on complex cross-functional strategic and tactical improvement projects, with an understanding of systems integration and BI platforms, and how they can be developed and automated to generate useful information. Influencing and supporting colleagues at all levels of the business in the design and delivery of creative solutions.
  • A champion of Lean waste removal, reviewing Logistics processes and how they interact with the Warehousing Operations, Sales Operations, and the Supply Chain flow to identify waste in administrative and tactical activities, removing waste where possible, and automating where needed.
  • Review of Logistics process interactions with other business units, such as On Time Shipping from our Supply Chain Partners, Inbound Sea and Air Freight analytics to understand impacts to Assembly and Sales plans, Sales Order processes and how that impacts Transportation capabilities and costs, and Timing & ROI data generation to assist in driving optimization.
  • Metrics improvement with a focus on SQDC, in areas such as: Product Safety & Risk, OTS, OTD/OTIF, TAT, and reducing and avoiding Cost.
  • Global logistics BI and metrics platforms super user and delivery expert, designing, finetuning and developing Tools for internal business units, whilst setting a Logistics KPI bowler & data validity strategy, with a plan to deliver a centralized global set of Metrics to the business.
  • Standardization of general logistics processes and systems.
  • Coach, Mentor, and Develop colleagues across business units interacting with Logistics, acting as a Logistics metrics, BI Tools, process and systems expert.
  • Understand and engage with regional teams and activities to develop solutions which align back to the global standard, which you will be a part of setting and maintaining.

QUALIFICATIONS
  • 8+ years of experience in process engineering & improvement, Logistics solutions, Lean within a Logistics environment, Data Analytics utilizing BI systems and tools connected to an ERP such as SAP, Supply Chain Management, or operational analytics and project management
  • Extensive experience of using Tableau and other BI platforms to pull data into simple to use, standardized, highly cross-functional dashboards and platforms which look good and bring a modern view to Logistics data
  • Broad knowledge of Logistics & Transportation services, Operations, Analytics, and cross functional supply chain interactions, Logistics Solutions Providers and relationships, and global fulfilment operations
  • Strong experience of leading and influencing teams in developing and deploying cross functional improvement projects, with a focus on data analytics and modeling to develop strategic and tactical roadmaps
  • Strong knowledge of Logistics & Operational practices within consumer-packaged good industry or video game industry is a plus
  • Working experience utilizing ERP systems (SAP GUI, SAP Fiori, SAP Business Objects, SAP IBP)
  • Working experience utilizing and developing functional improvements to Transport Management Platform and connections to WMS systems.
  • BS/BA or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Lean Six Sigma, or Lean Practitioner certifications and experience is a plus.

Please note that the base pay range may vary in line with our hybrid working policy and individual base pay will be determined based on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location.

The estimated base pay range for this role is listed below.
$115,800 - $173,600 USD
