Salary: $28.00/Hourly ($58,240.00 Annually). The final pay for this position will vary based on geographic location and candidate experience relative to what the company reasonably anticipates for this position.
Summary of Position:
A Senior Logistics Coordinator is directly responsible for internal logistics at the Bay Material warehouse, and performs functions including packaging, organizing, shipping Bay Materials products. This role works with other warehouse personnel and supports the Logistics & Warehouse manager with daily tasks.
Essential Functions and Duties:
- Review customer orders and plan product shipments placed through e-commerce and transportation system providers
- Track and Report key logistics performance indicators
- Process incoming RMAs
- Plan product boxing configurations to fill customer orders
- Prepare final pack-out of all customer shipments
- Wrap pallets according to workmanship standards. Label pallets with identification.
- Maintain product shipment traceability. Preform data entry on Customer Shipping Manifests and accurately fill our lot and quantity amounts on Box Product labels
- Shipment logging and data entry via Excel daily
- Organize and inventory supplies in warehouse and update log via Excel
- Ensure that all safety guidelines and Quality System processes are always followed strictly, maintaining a clean and orderly environment
Non-essential Functions and Duties:
- Perform other related duties and responsibilities as assigned
Physical Attributes:
- Observe and hear warning signs and signals within all areas of the company
- May stand or sit for up to 8 hours at a time at a given work station
- May lift up to 60 lbs at any given time
- Will be working in a fast-paced, team environment
Work Environment:
- Work is performed in a manufacturing environment
- The employee may occasionally be exposed to dust
- Operate machinery with moving parts
- The noise level in the work environment is usually low to moderate
- Will work in a fast-paced, team environment
Minimum Qualifications:
- High School Diploma/GED with logistics relevant work experience
- 2+ years of experience in domestic & international shipping via FedEx, UPS, DHL
- 2+ years working knowledge of MS Office particularly in Excel)
Preferred Qualifications:
- A.A. degree
- Ability to understand and follow written and verbal instructions, then work autonomously and under pressure
- SAP experience
