Responsibilities
Work in conjunction with manufacturing site or functional department leaders to develop and implement continuous improvement initiatives based on performance- based metrics and strategy deployment.
Facilitate lean events (value stream mapping, continuous improvement activities, etc.) and lead improvement projects involving cross-functional teams.
Develop, coach/mentor, and certify SMEs (Subject Matter Experts) in the application of lean tools (value stream mapping, continuous improvement activities, set-up reduction, etc.) and implementation and sustainment of lean systems (Crown Lean Management System and 5S System).
Implement large-scope lean processes and systems in a manufacturing site, retail site, or functional department.
Instructor-led training and module content development as SME.
Provide technical direction, leadership, and development with other lean engineers/practitioners.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Engineering, with 5 years relevant experience; an Associate’s degree, preferably in Engineering, with 10 years of relevant experience; or no degree with 15 years of relevant experience.
Must have excellent planning, communication, relationship building, and organizational skills.
Experience utilizing eVSM software and Six Sigma / technical problem-solving experience would be a plus.
