Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and support a team of software engineers in software development, providing technical guidance, code reviews, and support.
- Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to define project requirements and ensure successful software delivery.
- Mentor team members, offering regular feedback and aiding in career development.
- Participate in software engineering strategy discussions and technology evaluations.
- Manage project tasks and timelines, prioritizing work to achieve project objectives.
- Oversee project resource allocation and budget, ensuring efficient project execution.
- Proactively identify and address project risks and issues.
- Foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous learning within the team.
Essential Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field (or equivalent experience).
- 7+ years of experience in software engineering, with a focus on J2EE.
- Proven expertise in Java, Spring, Spring Boot, TCServer, and Websphere.
- Proficiency in REST/SOAP web services, and front-end technologies (AngularJS/ReactJS, CSS, JQuery).
- Experience with relational databases and frameworks like Hibernate.
- Skilled in Maven/Gradle/Git/Junit/Mockito.
- DevOps proficiency, including experience with GitHub, Jenkins, Dynatrace, New Relic.
- Agile methodology experience is essential.
