We're looking for an experienced back-end developer with the software engineering skills it takes to identify potential risks, contribute to solution development, and create efficient and effective systems for our clients.
As a back-end developer at Booz Allen, you'll use the latest architectural approaches and open-source frameworks and tools to deliver solutions. Using your software engineering experience, you'll work with the development team to create custom tools, systems, and sites with consistent performance and scalability.

You Have:

• 6+ years of experience with developing Java software
• 2+ years of experience developing applications leveraging big data technologies, including Elastic Search, Cassandra, or MongoDB
• Experience with Spring Boot and RESTful applications
• Experience with developing enterprise applications and leveraging big data technologies
• Experience with CI/CD tools
• Experience with SQL documentation or NoSQL data storage
• Knowledge of Docker
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust or Suitability/Fitness determination based on client requirements
• Bachelor's degree

Nice If You Have:

• Experience with logical data modeling
• Experience with graph analytics or other advanced analytic techniques
• Experience with developing in short Agile sprints on a Cloud infrastructure

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $81,800.00 to $186,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees. This posting will close within 90 days from the Posting Date.
