Qualifications
Required
- Any combination of education and experience equivalent to a bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, Information Security, or a related field.
- Six (6) years of progressively more responsible experience information technology and/or cybersecurity, some of which shall have been in a lead capacity in Information Security or a related field.
- Advanced degree(s) beyond the minimum degree requirement in a relevant field may be considered for some experience.
- Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) to be obtained within one year of hire.
- May be required to work evening and/or night shifts on a regular or rotating basis, to include weekends and holidays.
- Knowledge of theories, procedures, practices, materials, and methods related to cyberSecurity Compliance.
- Knowledge of applicable local, state, and federal privacy laws and regulations.
- Knowledge of HIPAA, FERPA, and PCI-DSS compliance frameworks.
- Skill in analytics and reporting tools.
- Proficiency in data compilation, analysis, and reporting.
- Organizational skills and detail oriented with a high level of accuracy.
- Ability to present information and/or deliver training to groups.
- Ability to create standard operating procedures and policies.
- Ability to handle sensitive user data and information.
- Ability to work independently or collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
- Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing.
Preferred
- Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA) and/or other security-related certifications.
