JOB DESCRIPTION
Money Equations Inc. is a full-service certified public accounting firm located in the Greater Washington D.C. area. We provide bookkeeping, tax planning, Corporate and Individual tax preparation, payroll, accounting, new business advice, and many more services.
As a fast-growing CPA firm, we are seeking a highly motivated individual to join our tax department, for tax preparation and planning of reasonably complex individual, corporation, and partnership tax returns. Trust return experience is a plus.
This role would also help with our accounting clients needing a virtual Accountant/Controller/CPA.
This position is long-term year-round employment. Looking for someone to grow into this position - Tax and Accounting.
We offer flexible hours, with the opportunity to work from home. This opportunity would be perfect for a "retired" Tax Preparer interested in working a flexible schedule.
We're searching for someone who would be able to work independently with NO supervision, and in fact, help and review the returns prepared by other Tax Preparers in the firm. This tax professional must be highly organized and be customer-service-minded. Must be able to assist other preparers in the firm, if they have any questions.
This role demands excellent attention to detail and the ability to think strategically.
This position will be supporting a high-volume tax preparation office.
An ideal candidate would be able to take total ownership of projects, communicate directly with clients, and work in detail to provide them with the best customer service possible. Some clients would need handholding and we expect our professionals to help the clients in every possible way.
The timeliness of deliverables and quality of work is of utmost importance to us!
For consideration, please include a complete and up-to-date resume with references with an hourly rate expectation.
