We are looking for an experienced tax professional with a passion and aptitude for technology to support solving tax calculation and collection challenges, developing and enhancing our indirect Tax Technology, processes, services, features, and operations.
As a Tax Technology Enablement senior analyst, you will...
Lead technology activities that support our tax strategy and configurations, including tax systems across Retail, B2B, ERP, Delivery and other channels to support tax operations, compliance, audit support, and streamlined data validation. You will be responsible for effectively managing assigned tasks, collaborating to provide timely communications to keep the other stakeholders connected, and identifying opportunities for technology utilization. Projects may include interviewing internal /external stakeholders, documenting results from workshops, determining tax requirements, researching tax issues, and helping to translate the tax requirements into technology solutions
Support and sustain indirect tax new or changing legislations, business channels and products, and ensure tax systems are maintained and supported to further the optimization of tax determinations and tax reporting and enable strategic focus and value capture. You will develop and maintain validation resources and testing documentation for supported tools, apps and environments and support sustainment of tools in use by the tax department (e.g., ERP, Alteryx, Microsoft Power BI and Power Platform, O365 SharePoint & Teams).
Provide tactical support for the design, development, operation and end user support of tax systems and tools, including reference guides and training materials.
Inspire others - You will serve as a change agent to champion Tax Technology initiatives, exploring and adopting new technologies, including creating user enablement materials and sharing use cases. You will collaborate with others in Technology and Data.
We'd love to hear from people with:
Progressive tax experience in public accounting or private industry
Knowledge of and hands on experience with tax systems and processes
Experience in working in a fast paced, high growth environment
Experience with indirect and other Taxes in the US and familiarity with other Countries Indirect tax regimes
Ability to identify process efficiency opportunities
Ability to balance multiple priorities and meet deadlines
Experience utilizing finance/accounting system and reporting tools for required data and tax purposes
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Exceptional attention to detail and organization
Displays initiative and can improve processes and document work performed.
Ability to use ERP/accounting system and reporting tools to obtain required information for tax purposes.
Proficiency in tax systems, tax databases and tax research tools
Highly collaborative with cross-functional teams and delivers excellent customer service.
Experience working with Oracle, Vertex, Microsoft Power Platforms
