JOB SUMMARY
The incumbent will manage all aspects of Implementation projects. Manage conformance with Implementation requirements by utilizing standard tools and processes, facilitating gate reviews, and providing unbiased evaluations of program status and risk. Serve as a subject matter expert in project management, using best practice methodologies to effectively manage scope, time, cost, quality, risk, and customer satisfaction. Manage the overall Implementation of projects to deliver required results on time and on budget.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Manage the existing project management tool box inclusive of process and templates, and continuously seek improvement opportunities.
- Manage and oversee training of new and existing implementation department resources in process and tools as it relates to implementation management, as well as, continually mentor team members in best practices to achieve implementation success.
- Manage the development of project management costing as requested for new business proposals, as well as, refer to lessons learned from previous projects to continually enhance the accuracy of costing.
- Manage and seek improvement opportunities in the integration of Implementation teams further upstream in the process, inclusive of pricing model construction, proposal review and customer presentation.
- Manage direct reports who may be assigned, including, direction, performance review, corrective action, training, expense control, etc.
- Manage and facilitate project planning workshops.
- Mange the progress of the project, identify and quantify any variances, perform any required corrective actions, and communicate to all stakeholders.
- Other duties as assigned by management.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Logistics/Supply Chain, Engineering, or Information Technology / Systems.
- 7-10 years’ experience
- Highly proficient in Accountability, Planning and Organizing, Communication (oral and written), Leadership, Decision Making, Teamwork, and Interpersonal Skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Project and other MS Office applications.
- Proficient in recording detailed customer requirements, constraints, and assumptions.
- Valid passport and the ability/desire to travel up to 50% of the time.
Preferred:
- Six sigma experience
- Project Management Institute, Inc. (PMI) Certification (Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM) or Project Management Professional (PMP).
- Warehouse operations experience
- Multi-lingual.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
- Work is primarily sedentary. Sits comfortably to do the work; however, there may be some walking, standing, bending, or lifting item weighing up to 15 pounds.
