Pinnacle Home Improvements is a rapidly growing residential home services business performing direct-to-consumer exterior work (re-roofing, windows, and siding). The business currently serves its customers out of five locations across the southeast.
In late 2023, Pinnacle Home Improvements partnered with Boyne Capital, a Miami, FL-based Private Equity firm that seeks to forge lasting and collaborative relationships with companies whose founders are still deeply involved in growing their businesses.
Opportunity
Stepping into the role of the Senior Human Resources Generalist, you will have the opportunity to work in a multifaceted role within a forward-thinking and rapidly scaling business. You will be the cornerstone of our Human Resources support, managing the areas of recruitment and staffing, training and development, HR administration, policy development and compliance, and employee relations. As a strategic partner to senior management, your contributions will directly impact our company culture, and drive the growth and success of our organization. The Senior Human Resources Generalist reports to the CFO and does not have direct reports.
Key Responsibilities
- Recruiting and Staffing: Develop and implement recruitment strategies to source, interview, and select candidates. Collaborate closely with hiring managers to understand staffing needs and fill positions effectively.
- Training and Development: Assist management in creating specific KPIs and coordinate training programs across locations, including new locations and acquired businesses.
- HR Administration: Support the CFO in the identification and implementation of an HRIS. Oversee the new hire onboarding process and ensure the maintenance of accurate employee records.
- Policy Development and Compliance: Formulate, implement, and uphold HR policies and procedures in alignment with labor laws, regulations, and company policies.
- Employee Relations: Cultivate a positive work environment while addressing and resolving employee issues and concerns proactively.
Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in Human Resources, business administration, or a related field
- Minimum of 5 years of progressive HR generalist experience within a start-up/lower-middle market environment
- Knowledgeable in labor laws GA/NC/SC/KY/TN and other southeast states
- HRIS experience
- Willing/able to be on-site in Alpharetta, GA M-F
- Direct to consumer services industry experience preferred
- PHR/SPHR or SHRM-CP/SHRM-SCP certification is valued
