Senior Human Resources Generalist
Work Mode: Hybrid
Location: Hybrid at Waukesha, WI
Opportunity

Specific Responsibilities
  • Assist Manager and Directors with the understanding and implementation of HR policies and procedures.
  • Promote the importance of equality, diversity and fairness in all matters relating to employment.
  • Provide advice on best practice HR, ensuring that legal requirements are fully adhered to.
  • Provide support and advice on performance management and disciplinary/grievance issues.
  • Provide employees with information, assistance and advice on HR and work-related issues.
  • Manage and take an active role in recruitment activity, ensuring that the process is appropriate, cost effective and in accordance with employment legislation.
  • Support the design and delivery of an effective induction program for new employees.
  • Ensure the leaver process is followed and support/conduct exit interviews.
  • Manage and develop the company's personnel records system, ensuring that it is kept up to date and opportunities for the provision of management information maximized: to include creating and analyzing employee reports and providing proactive solutions for improvement.
  • Maintain and update Employee Handbook and Engineers Handbook.
  • Ensure that all employee personnel files are up to date.
  • Administer the Group Medical health, dental and vision insurance offerings.
  • In conjunction with the Finance Director ensure that the company HR policies are in line with current employment legislation and that any changes are communicated to the business.
  • Keep up to date with current thinking in HR and associated legislative requirements, by reading relevant journals, going to meetings, and attending appropriate courses.
  • Adhere to Health, Safety, Environmental and Quality management policies, and procedures as appropriate to work being undertaken.

Skills/Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree preferred in a HR related field.
  • Strong IT skills and knowledge of Microsoft Office products.
  • A minimum of 4 years of experience in an HR role.

Desirable
  • Experience and understanding of training and development methods.
  • Recruitment experience.
