WHO are we looking for?
The Senior Human Resources Assistantwill perform administrative duties related to the operations of the Human Resources department. The Senior Human Resources Assistant will help department managers with administrative duties and clerical support. This role will support internal and external requests related to the department and serve as the contact person for benefits, vendors, and administrators.
- Administrative duties including calendar management, travel, accounts payable, and expense reports
- Schedule and organize appointments
- Assist and coordinate human resource events including team events and luncheons
- Proofread documents and correspondence produced by department
- Serve as the back up to the recruiting scheduler and onboarding coordinator
- Schedule and set up Human Resources training and learning events
- Produce reports as needed on a daily or weekly basis
- Oversee the time reporting and approval process
- Archive terminated files, financial records, and not hired job applications
- Answer/route phone calls and greet and tour visitors
- Receive and distribute department mail
- Perform other related duties as assigned
Minimum Qualifications:
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of five years’ administrative assistant experience
Desired Qualifications/Skills:
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Extensive knowledge of office management systems and procedures
- Proficient in Microsoft Office systems
- Excellent written and verbal communication
- Ability to maintain confidential information
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Ability to prioritize tasks
