Job Summary:
- Compliance:
- Ensure compliance with all applicable federal, state, and local laws and regulations, including OSHA standards.
- Conduct safety audits and investigations.
- Develop and implement safety training programs.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all safety-related activities.
- Employee Relations:
- Provide support and guidance to managers on employee relations issues, including disciplinary action, performance management, and conflict resolution.
- Investigate and resolve employee complaints and concerns.
- Develop and implement employee engagement programs.
- Foster a positive and productive work environment.
- Talent Management:
- Conduct interviews and make hiring recommendations.
- Onboard new employees.
- Develop and implement performance management programs.
- Provide career development opportunities for employees.
- Act as a liaison between the warehouse and the HR department.
- Represent the HR department at meetings and events.
- Participate in special projects as assigned.
- Hours, Monday-Friday, must overlap 1st and 2nd shift employees.
- Bilingual fluency in English and Spanish.
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a Human Resources role, preferably in a warehouse setting.
- Proven experience in OSHA compliance and safety management.
- Strong knowledge of employee relations principles and practices.
- Experience with talent management, including recruitment, selection, and performance management.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong analytical and organizational skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
