About the Role
In this role, you will support the continued optimization of our Workday implementation and prioritization of our Workday roadmap through partnership with existing Workday Technology Partners on the People Team, and collaboration with BetMGM People Team COEs, IT and Payroll teams to realize Workdays full potential.
You will also participate in User Acceptance Testing and support the development and delivery of communications and training for projects and initiatives. You will be implementing and sustaining Workday Core HCM and other modules such as Talent Management, Recruiting, Workday Help and integrations. We will be looking to you to provide guidance on best practice design decisions.
Responsibilities
- Support ongoing Workday implementation, optimization, and adoption
- Identify areas for improvement in both the processes and systems; continuously research new system functionality/trends and HR best practices
- Configure and maintain Workday systems to meet business requirements, with a particular emphasis on Workday implementation projects.
- Design, build, test, implement, and troubleshoot system enhancements and release upgrades
- Partner effectively with all stakeholders including HR functional areas, payroll, IS, and external consultants
- Serve as a Named Support Contact to resolve production issues
- Develop and maintain documentation on Workday system configurations.
- Collaborate with other team members to troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Workday implementation projects.
- Provide training and support to end-users of Workday systems, with a particular emphasis on Workday implementation projects.
- Act as subject matter and configuration expert for Workday HCM, partnering closely with HR Operations and other functional areas
- Act as a security and roles specialist for Workday accesses
- Identify and recommend opportunities to build efficiencies through enhanced system capabilities and automation
Essential Functions
- Must be able to stand or sit and operate computers and other technological devices for extended periods of time
Qualifications
- A minimum of 5 years experience with Workday. A minimum of 3 years of Workday Configuration experience.
- Preference will be given to candidates with Workday Certification in HCM or Payroll or Time
- Experience with implementation of Workday for mid-sized organizations
- Knowledge, Experience & ability to influence stakeholders, team members, and cross-functional teams
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite - Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Visio required; working knowledge of SharePoint preferred
- Excellent organization, time management, written and verbal communication skills
- Should possess analytical thinking, strong problem-solving skills, testing and training skills.
