Ultimate Staffing is looking for a Senior-Level HR Generalist for a client in the St. Louis area. Candidates must have 5+ years of experience in Human Resources, Bachelors Degree and be located in the St. Louis area to be considered.
Job Title:Senior HR Generalist
Location: St. Louis, MO- Hybrid
Status: 1 year Contract
Compensation: $60,000 - $80,000 based on experience
Position Overview: This role will require a proactive, unbiased branch partnership along with active engagement in the firm's strategic effort to employ family branch teams. Provide HC guidance and oversight to the branch team, enable healthy branch development in order for the branch to serve clients, grow the branch, and positively impact communities in alignment with firm strategy.
Responsibilities:
- Lead onboarding of family branch teams
- Detect and mitigate conflict of interest risk to clients, the firm and branch team by evaluating branch team dynamics and compliance with firm policies and procedures.
- Partner with branch team in to create a highly engaging environment in the branch of mutual trust, respect, feedback, and accountability with an intentional focus on the complexities of family branch teams.
- Proactively engage branch team associates both as a team and individually to have a deep understanding of team dynamics, proactively address emerging concerns and adjust their strategy to ensure their needs are met.
- Advise branch team on business and human resource issues, providing oversight and options consistent with legal/compliance and Edward Jones culture.
- Partner with the FA to ensure alignment and equity on all branch team performance evaluations, bonus allocations and employment decisions.
- Partner with the FA and branch team to monitor and adjust the branch business plan to increase branch effectiveness and achieve desired business results.
- Lead branch offboarding consulting as needed.
- Lead recommendations for supervisory infrastructure and associated resource requirements
- Provide thought leadership and subject matter expertise to influence the risk mitigation strategies of employing family members within the same branch.
- Partner with home office and field leadership teams to integrate and align Human Capital solutions with other business support functions.
- Develop and implement HR programs and activities designed to improve overall morale, job satisfaction, and safety of associates
Requirements:
- 5+ years of working experience in an increasingly responsible HR position
- Bachelors degree in Human Resources related field
- PHR/SHERM Certification preferred.
- Strong working knowledge of state/federal employment laws including Risk Mitigation, Recruiting, Investigations, Project Management, and Business Management.
- Ability to build and maintain relationships with internal business partners and work with associates and all levels of leadership.
- Ability to influence with respect to HR matters.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Demonstrated ability to prioritize and meet deadlines.
- Excellent analytical and critical thinking skills.
- Intermediate understanding of Microsoft products including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Strong presentation skills.
