CenterPoint Energy is looking for aSenior HR Business Partnerto join our Human Resources Team, located in Evansville, IN

You will have the ability to: provide strategic support in planning, organizing and administering human resource programs and initiatives in support of business goals.  Collaborate with and provide guidance and direction to management and employees on Human Resources issues, activities, policies, programs and processes under the direction of the Human Resources Manager and Director.

To be successful in this role you will:

  • Partner and influence the organization at multiple leadership levels and act as a resource for employees.
  • Be responsible for driving activities associated with organizational effectiveness, talent management, employee relations, rewards planning, communications and data analysis. 
  • Engage and utilize HR centers of expertise to obtain consultative support on common tools, systems, and processes. 
  • Align HR solutions with business strategies, structures and challenges.
  • Influence leaders by rejecting status quo, finding customized solutions and driving implementation and communication plans.
  • Develop, coach and support leadership and management capability to inspire employee growth and learning.
  • Plan and facilitate talent reviews and engage with leadership in the development of associated action plans.
  • Partner with management and Labor Relations, where applicable, regarding recommendations and actions that support a nondiscriminatory workplace.

Your background includes:

  • Bachelor's degree required
  • 3 years of relevant work experience required.
