As a Senior HR Business Partner, your essential job functions include the following:
Strategic Partner
Partner with senior business leaders to drive business strategy and profitability by helping identify, prioritize and build organizational capabilities, behaviors, structures and processes.
Consult, coach and influence senior leadership on key organizational and management changes to support strategic objectives.
Assess the HR implications of business strategies and adjust HR strategies to respond to changing business needs.
Act as the performance improvement driver while provoking positive changes in leadership development and people management.
Collaborate with business leaders to guide associate development, teambuilding, performance management, organizational development and workforce planning.
Provide guidance and input on business unit restructures, workforce planning, career pathing and succession planning.
Leverage trends and metrics to develop talent strategies.
Support and facilitate significant organizational change initiatives.
Operations Manager
Act as the liaison between the People Department's Associate Service Center and business units; collaborate on the execution of HR and talent strategies.
Execute and help drive talent management processes, and proactively propose functional talent strategies.
Develop role-based curriculum strategies, oversee execution of strategies and evaluate effectiveness.
Collaborate on development plans for key roles and high potential associates.
Coordinate job analysis, compensation reviews and compensation packages.
Collaborate on the development of functional and region-specific talent acquisition strategies.
Promote business unit participation in HR and learning and development programs.
Provide feedback to improve HR policies and initiatives to enhance overall business performance.
Emergency Responder
Provide guidance on HR policy interpretation and enforcement.
Collaborate on employee relations issues.
Provide expert advice and coaching to employees and managers where appropriate.
Identify trends and develop strategies to mitigate and prevent future employee relations issues.
Leader of Others
Full responsibility for building a HR Business Partner team including hiring and firing decisions.
Develop a team environment that values diversity and uses various individual's strengths to the benefit of the team and the organization.
Own the performance evaluation of each team member and appropriate action such as promotions, counseling and termination.
Delegate significant responsibilities; empower staff to act while providing hands on coaching.
Identify talent gaps to achieve business goals and implement strategies to close gaps.

Position Requirements
Bachelor's degree required. Master's degree preferred. Experience accepted in lieu of advanced degree.
Minimum of 10 years progressive HR and/or in-depth business experience that has resulted in operating as a consultant/trusted advisor to the business.
A record of accomplishment and increasing responsibility culminating in a role requiring high levels of influence; collaboration with all levels of an organization, including executives; experience in leadership role in a similar sized or larger organization known for the quality of its HR programs.
Demonstrated knowledge of business practices and the link between HR strategy and business strategy.
Experience in proactively analyzing problems, identifying alternative solutions, projecting consequences of proposed actions and implementing recommendations in support of a strategic plan.
Physical Job Requirements
Continuous viewing from and inputting data to a computer screen.
Travel as necessary (approximately 30%).
The compensation offered for this position will depend on qualifications, experience, and geographic location. The starting base salary is expected to be between $100,000 and $125,000 annually. The total compensation package may also include commission or bonus. We offer a competitive & comprehensive benefit package including: paid time off, medical, dental, vision, and 401k match (50% on the dollar up to 7% of employee contribution).
