Job Title: Senior Healthcare Risk Underwriter/Pricing Analyst

Get to Know the Team:
The Senior Underwriter is responsible for pricing models, including evaluating financial guarantees, and pricing and pricing/underwriting strategies, for existing and potential customers. They are responsible innovative tools that streamline client decisions, add value to new and existing clients as they add to or enhance their business models. This role supports the Health risk and sales operation teams and frequently interacts with senior leadership. You will join a small, collaborative team promoting better health outcomes for consumers through the integration of advanced analytics, clinical insights, and transformative digital capabilities.

What You Will Get to Do:
- Support the Health operations team with existing pricing models as well as help with the development and evaluation of alternative pricing structures
- Partnering with other internal clients on the continued improvement of the pricing process
- Drive business model and pricing strategy and policies to maximize profitability
- Work with senior leadership on accounting and finance revenue decisions as it relates to sales opportunities
- Support the sales team in developing pricing proposals, evaluating strategic options, and responding to customer RFP inquiries
- Partner with sales teams and operations managers in the commercial process for continued success
- Identifies organization's strengths and weaknesses in regards to pricing and suggests areas of improvement
- Collaborate with other members of the finance team in budget, forecast, and compliance decisions
- Ensures issues are identified, tracked, reported on and resolved in a timely manner
- Involvement in special projects, communication and overall organizational changes related to Health pricing
- Capacity to embrace change and quickly adapt to new situations, changes in direction, and altering priorities
- Involvement in projects related to opportunity management and sales data
- Partnering with other internal clients such as contract and legal teams to expedite the client contracting process
What You Will Bring:
- Degree in Business, Mathematics, Accounting, Finance, Actuarial Science or other related area or equivalent work-related experience
- 3+ years' experience in Underwriting, Pricing, Actuarial Science, Finance, or other related areas
- Must be able to understand risk analysis
- 1+ years' experience with modeling and be able to partner with data management team
- Advanced Excel skills required
- Strong organizational and decision making skills with a high degree of mathematical aptitude
- Strong understanding of accounting and financial processes
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Attention to detail
- Ability to interact with senior management and key business users
- Demonstrated ability to multi-task
- Experience supporting Sales is a preferred
