Competitive Pricing Analyst I
Provides analysis of revenue, collects, and maintain specific products and pricing information to predict future performance and to advise the company on its financial strategy.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Analyses business and financial data.
- Ensures that transactions are recorded accurately and assigned to the appropriate projects and departments.
- Produces reports, timelines, and graphics to communicate changes in prices.
- Creates financial models based on analyses to support organizational decision making.
- Develops financial plans and reports for organizational leaders.
- Analyzes industry trends and makes recommendations based on those trends.
- Develops automated reporting and forecasting tools for more efficient use of data.
- Conducts market research as needed to recommend changes to pricing or business models.
- Prepares periodic cost reconciliation reports tracking data such as changing labor and supply costs.
- Performs other related duties, as assigned.
- Maintains a database of historical pricing data to monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of pricing and guide pricing decisions.
- Manages pricing analysis of revenue and market segments aligned with products and sales strategy.
