About The Role:
The Senior Agricultural Market Leader will play a pivotal role in redeveloping the LATAM Agricultural Markets for the firm. Based in Miami, this position involves significant business development responsibilities, including expanding the firm's presence in listed futures and options markets in LATAM. The successful candidate will also mentor junior team members, cultivate relationships with FIBs (Financial Institutions/Brokers) in LATAM, and implement strategies for sales growth.

Key Responsibilities:

• Redevelop a strong presence in LATAM Agricultural Markets, focusing on listed futures and options markets.
• Mentor and train junior team members in sales techniques and maintaining client relationships.
• Expand the client base by bringing in mid-tier sales in both LATAM and Miami.
• Develop and implement a Cold Calling Program and Lead generator to identify new business opportunities.
• Collaborate with Financial Institutions/Brokers in LATAM to explore potential partnerships and business ventures.
• Introduce Agricultural derivatives business to clients and prospects.
• Manage accounts, monies, futures, and options positions across multiple time zones in LATAM.
• Provide risk management solutions and services to onboarded customers.
• Correspond with clients and prospects to discuss risk management strategies using futures and options.
• Attend industry events to prospect new clients and enhance brand awareness.

Qualifications:

• Must have a FINRA Series 3 qualification.
• Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is required; fluency in Portuguese is a plus.
• 7-10+ years of relevant experience in agricultural markets or related fields.
• Demonstrated track record of managing a current book of business of at least $1 million or more.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
