About the Senior Full Stack Engineer role:We are seeking a skilled Senior Full Stack Engineer with a strong background in React, Javascript, Next.js, and Node.js, preferably with a proficiency in Python, to lead one of our business line Point of Sale (POS) solutions within a cloud infrastructure. Reporting directly to the VP of Engineering, this role involves overseeing technology and engineering solutions specific to the designated business unit, including team management, architecture, and adherence to best practices. This is a hands-on position responsible for the development of various applications, processes, data, and reports essential for fixing, improving, and enhancing both new and existing applications.
Your Profile:Mastery of React, Javascript, Next.js, and Node.js Adept at quickly familiarizing oneself with new software and hardware Strong problem-solving abilities and the capacity to swiftly navigate towards resolutions Degrees, certifications, and experience are advantageous, but not mandatory. Your Experience and Background:
Required Skills/Qualifications
- Must have experience with Next.js and Node.js, as well as strong proficiency in React and Javascript
- Familiarity with developing REST APIs and scripting Minimum of three years of experience in Javascript and related technologies
- Experience with Python APIs
- Ability to generate comprehensive software documentation and guides
- Adopt a 'player coach' approach within the team
- Prior experience in application architecture and/or technical leadership
- Experience in DevOps, handling releases and deployments
- Previous involvement in leading or driving an agile team
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
Nice to have skills and experience
- SCRUM Master certification
- Full Stack Developer MERN experience
- Linux knowledge Experience with Java and/or .NET Familiarity with cloud technologies and practices.
