Senior Front End Engineer

As a Sr. Front End Engineer, you will have the opportunity to make a difference on your innovative and fun, fully remote software team that is building something special for a massive industry. Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable code
• Refactor legacy code leaving it in a better state than how you found it
• Ensure the best possible performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications
• Identify bottlenecks/bugs and devise ways to address them
• Advocate for the architectural direction of the Front End

? You have 7+ years of experience designing and delivering products in cross-functional teams from start to finish

? You’re able to write functional code with a sharp eye for spotting defects

? You’re a team player with great communication skills

? You have superior organizational skills, integrity, and great follow-through on tasks

? You are familiar with unit testing, both when writing new code and also backfilling in existing code

Skills & Experience

? Extensive experience building web applications using AngularJS, HTML5, CSS, and ES6

? Knowledge and competence with testing of Angular components using Jest

? Familiarity with API-driven development (REST, WebAPI, JSON, XML)

? Understanding of fundamental design principles related to building a scalable application

? Experience using Git

? Understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies

? Experience with e-commerce platforms a plus
