The U.S. Consumer Services and Enterprise Digital & Data Technology Team brings together foundational strategic technology capabilities in digital experience engineering (Mobile and Web), AI/ML, marketing technology, enterprise communications, travel and lifestyle, and automation, grounded in our data technology model that prioritizes data governance. It employs a ground-breaking focus with development responsibilities for customer-facing capabilities that deepen and expand digital engagement, as well as core technical capabilities that cut across business lines and customer segments.
We are looking for a versatile and skilled Frontend Engineer to join our team. As a Senior Frontend Engineer, you will play a crucial role in crafting exceptional user experiences for our products. You'll collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement and optimize frontend solutions, ensuring high performance and responsiveness.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the development of user-facing features and ensure seamless integration with backend services.
- Collaborate with UX/UI designers to translate design wireframes into efficient, responsive code.
- Work with frontend and backend teams to ensure seamless integration of components.
- Design, develop, test, and deploy scalable and robust software applications.
- Implement and maintain APIs, connecting frontend and backend functionalities.
- Participate in code reviews, maintain code quality, and troubleshoot issues.
- Stay updated on emerging frontend technologies and share insights within the team.
- Mentor and guide junior engineers, fostering a collaborative and innovative environment.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or higher degree in Computer Science or related field.
- Proven experience as a Frontend Engineer, with a strong portfolio showcasing successful projects.
- Expertise in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and modern frontend frameworks (React, NextJS).
- Strong understanding of web performance, cross-browser compatibility, and responsive design.
- Adept at state management, hooks, and component lifecycle.
- Solid understanding of asynchronous programming and RESTful API integration.
- Knowledge of databases, API design, and server-side architecture.
- Experience with version control systems, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud platforms.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a passion for delivering high-quality applications.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Knowledge of server-side rendering and performance optimization techniques.
- Familiarity with containerization (e.g. Docker) and orchestration (e.g. Kubernetes).
- Experience with testing frameworks (Jest, Mocha, etc.).
- Good understanding of microservices architecture.
Salary Range: $110,000.00 to $190,000.00 annually + bonus + benefits
