What’s the position?
We are looking for a team member to join our accounting department to focus on Netsuite administration and maintenance including security, user roles, interfaces, and workflow. He/she will support users at all levels by providing training and leveraging Netsuite in their work. The candidate will also assist with reconciliations of data between systems, allocating transactions to other subsidiaries, and manipulating large amounts of data to produce financial reports and analysis. We are looking for someone who is willing to tackle problems with innovative ideas and quality implementations. He/she will analyze business requirements, design and/or procure solutions, and lead implementations and upgrades.
What will you do?
- Partner with the accounting team in the design and implementation of controls and processes in Netsuite to facilitate timely and accurate financial reporting.
- Automation of manual accounting processes and integrating new software systems.
- Provide Netsuite production support including any needed data conversions, system documentation, and end-user training.
- Create and manage workflows for finance and accounting processes.
- Work with finance team members to gather needs, deploy and maintain scripts.
- When required, add fields and workflow to support additional Netsuite functionality.
- Ensure Netsuite is functioning properly to support HRD’s approval matrix parameters, internal controls, policies, and procedures.
- Create custom reporting for management, finance, and accounting staff.
- Maintain the NetSuite integration with Blackline, Hibob, Concur, and Kyriba.
- Support the population of Netsuite users outside of finance and accounting.
- Review data imported by the interface with banks and HR systems.
- Allocate expenses between subsidiaries and build appropriate reporting.
- Maintain up-to-date process documentation and procedures.
- Special projects as assigned.
What are we looking for?
- Minimum of 3 years of Netsuite ERP administrative experience is an absolute must.
- A BA/BS in Accounting, Finance, Information Systems, or a related field.
- Netsuite certification highly desired.
- Familiarity with standard accounting and financial reports.
- Experience in large organizations with high volumes of transactions.
- Background working within a GAAP and SOX controls environment.
- Ability to work independently and in a team setting, while balancing multiple projects at any given time.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Highly proficient in Excel.
- Kyriba, Blackline, Concur, and Hibob experience a big plus.
