What We Are Looking For: The Senior FP&A Analyst reports to the Head of FP&A with significant exposure to sales and executive leadership. The FP&A team is a scaling function within the business which will allow this role to participate in a wide range of projects and responsibilities including sales support, cost/expense support, finance business partnership, and strategic decision making. The Senior FP&A Analyst will build and enhance financial models and complete analysis that will produce insights and help support strategic decisions. They will participate in and drive the monthly reporting, forecasting and budgeting processes. They will collaborate cross-functionally to ensure that operational decisions are supported by financial metrics.What You’ll Be Doing:

• Responsibilities will include supporting FP&A leadership in monthly reporting and forecasting of sales / top line metrics and business partnership with various sales and executive functions, including back-office support functions to develop an understand of each function and provide analytical support as needed.
• Developing models to enhance reporting and forecasting of top-line metrics (billings, bookings, GAAP revenue), and related costs (i.e. commissions, sales operations support).
• Collaborate with the Head of FP&A and senior Finance team to produce and enhance standard periodic reporting and forecasting (quarterly, monthly and weekly financial reports and dashboards), including variance analysis and explanations.
• Participate in the annual budget and reforecast process, including project management, engagement with the senior management team, and assessment/presentation of results.
• Participate in the presentation of results to the senior management team.
• Develop KPIs and analyses to track key business metrics across the organization such as ARR, customer retention, sales performance, and others.
• Partner with the Accounting team to ensure accurate reporting and integration of actuals into forecasts.
• Perform various ad hoc analysis as directed by the CEO/CFO
• Be a resource for analysis and due diligence related to M&A activity.

Requirements:

Education

•  BA/BS in Finance, Accounting, or similar.

Experience

• 5+ years professional experience including financial forecasting.
• Experience in private equity, investment banking, or investor relations preferred.
• Experience forecasting and analyzing SaaS B2B topline strongly preferred.
• Technical skill set including Salesforce, PowerBI, or similar data/visualization tools preferred.

Talents and Desired Qualifications:

• Strong analytical skills with a proven track record of delivering actionable insights.
• Thorough understanding of GAAP.
• Advanced Excel modeling and Power Point.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
