The successful candidate is a self-motivator with a strong attention to detail and accuracy. They should have an extensive knowledge of financial reporting practices along with strong analytical and communication skills. They will enjoy taking on ad-hoc projects, new challenges, and show a strong dedication to achieving project deliverables within tight timelines. This role reports into the Director of Corporate FP&A along with Manager of Corporate FP&A and Senior Strategy Analyst.
- Manage monthly management reporting process, coordinate with leaders to gather and consolidate monthly reporting.
- Assist in the preparation of annual budgets, forecasts, and long-term financial planning
- Responsible for accurate and timely weekly, monthly, quarterly and ad-hoc management reporting
- Prepare variance analysis comparing actual results to budget and forecast
- Analyze proposed operational changes, business opportunities and other strategic decisions to provide guidance and potential financial impact to the organization
- Prepare and analyze key performance indicators and other data for use in business decisions by leadership
- Create ad-hoc analyses to provide insights and drive strategic decisions by leadership
- Develop various deliverables for senior leadership to share findings and analysis
- Supports other FP&A team deliverables and additional tasks as assigned
- Identify improvement opportunities and propose new solutions to increase value and business performance
- Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting
- 3+ years’ applicable work experience
- Certified Public Accountant is preferred
- Experience developing annual budgets and financial forecasts
- Experience developing financial reporting and analyzing results
- Effective communication skills including the ability to summarize complex information in a concise and simplified manner
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to use technology to gather data and generate financial reports
- Strong team mentality with a focus on delivering a quality work product
- Strong written and oral communication skills
- Ability to think critically and problem solve
- Skilled in managing multiple concurrent projects, activities and tasks under time constraints
- Desires ability to grow and take on opportunities for advancement within the organization
- Advanced Excel and PowerPoint; financial reporting system (PBCS, HFM) experience a plus
- Elementary English proficiency communication skills necessary
