Position Summary: We're seeking a Financial Analyst/Senior Accountant to review and analyze routine financial data, ensuring compliance with internal policies, procedures, and external regulations. This role involves detailed account analysis, reconciliation review, and variance analysis.
Responsibilities:
Review and analyze operational results and financial statements monthly.
Recommend adjustments to financial data and provide audit schedules.
Perform account reconciliations using BlackLine and historic accounts true-up.
Develop financial schedules for management and the external audit team.
Propose improvements to systems and methods of work.
Assist in special projects as needed.
Working with all our Business Units, and from several different countries outside the US.
A bachelor's Degree in Accounting is required, not just a Master's in Accounting.
The position is 70% accounting and 30% Financial analyst. Someone who understands accounting concepts, not just the work
Must have foreign exchange experience - this is what the hiring manager calls historic true-ups. 50-60 different currencies.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting
Fixed Asset Roll-ups from all Business Units. Depreciation, amortization, and disposals. PPE roll forward reporting experience. Calculating CAPEX. More than data entry into a spreadsheet. This data/information may be coming from different locations and needs to be put into a consolidated schedule.
Foreign exchange experience, historic true-ups.]
Strong experience in reconciliations.
Experienced in preparing monthly journal entries.
Preparing/reviewing income statements and balance sheets.
Must know G/L accounting.
Oracle and Blackline are a huge plus.
Must have experience with some ERP. Blackline is our reconciliation tool.
Review, analyze, and resolve variance analysis.
