THE ROLE: Senior Financial Analyst
Job Summary:
The Senior Financial Analyst will be responsible for the accounting and financial operations of Presidio's manufacturer rebate in a shared services environment. This role will interact regularly with senior leadership and is uniquely positioned to improve the profitability of the organization. He or she must be detail oriented, have advanced analytical skills and effectively influence business outcomes. This person will need to collaborate with accounting shared services to understand the impact of accounting policies and come up with solutions to implement accounting practices that align with the FP&A needs.
Travel Requirements:
In this role you will be expected to travel up to 5%. It will be primarily remote, with preferred locations close to a Presidio office.
Job Responsibilities:
  • Responsible for monthly reconciliation and journal entries related to manufacturer rebate and marketing programs.
  • Identify areas to optimize rebate performance in the sales cycle.
  • Develop key performance indicators relative to manufacturer mix and product technologies.
  • Develop and maintain a monthly reporting package for senior leadership.
  • Develop monthly processes to automate repetitive tasks.
  • Communicate program changes to senior leadership on a quarterly basis.
  • Develop relationships with key internal and external stakeholders.
  • Design processes and metrics to forecast rebate performance.
  • Reconcile internal and external data.
  • Document internal control processes and procedures.

Required Skills:
  • Results oriented, with a high bias for action and a strong ownership of accountability.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills with experience partnering alongside and presenting to executive management.
  • Outstanding interpersonal skills and proven experience in building collaborative working relationships with teams across the organization.
  • Analytical and problem-solving mindset with a can-do attitude.
  • Advanced knowledge of Excel (including V lookup, pivot tables, etc.).

Additional Desired Skills:
  • Professional certification (e.g. MBA, CPA, CMA, CFA).
  • Experience in the technology or professional service sector.
  • Experience with planning systems such as OneStream, Hyperion, IBM, etc.
  • Experience with accounting systems such as Great Plains, Oracle, SAP, etc.
  • Experience with visualization tools such as Tableau, Qlikview, Power BI, etc.

Education and Experience:
  • A bachelor's degree in finance or accounting, or other related quantitative discipline is required.
  • Preferred candidate will have 4+ years of experience in public or private accounting/finance roles with a strong accounting foundation.
  • 2+ years of FP&A experience. Must have participated in at least 2 annual budget planning cycles.
