We currently have an opening for a Senior Financial Analyst to join our Home Office in Winter Park, FL. The Senior Financial Analyst is responsible for collecting, organizing, and evaluating information that facilitates decision-making for the organization. The position works closely with the Senior Manager of Operations Finance, CFO, and other team members on multi-disciplinary projects, including margin improvement efforts, operational effectiveness, and innovative growth opportunities. This individual will become a super-user of the organization's analytics and forecasting systems and will be heavily involved in the financial planning process.
Overview & Responsibilities:
- Prepares and analyzes financial statements, operational metrics, and key performance indicators; summarizes findings and translates into simple and actionable oral and/or written observations
- Maintains ongoing working relationship and connectivity with senior operations leaders and corporate office functional leaders; shows active engagement with immediate peer team
- Masters use of ERP and dashboards and leverages these tools to perform job functions at a high level
- Assists in the development of the annual budget and mid-year forecasts
- Actively uses knowledge and skills to make recommendations for process improvements and other efficiencies
- Supports and leads ad-hoc reporting requests and other special studies
- Maintains compliance with all Company reporting obligations, policies and procedures
- Bachelor's degree in finance, economics or related field required
- Requires minimum four years of experience in corporate finance, accounting, or other related positions
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Experience in financial reporting and budgeting
- Excellent Excel skills, including modeling best practices
- High sense of urgency with both mandated and self-imposed deadlines
- Critical thinker that thoroughly evaluates all potential accounting implications and solutions associated with a particular issue
- Ability to concisely translate financial observations into layman's terms
- Excellent oral/written communication, presentation skills to senior leadership, and a proven ability to build relationships

- Advanced ability to make decisions and recommendations based on financial and business analytics in both individual and group settings
