Senior Financial Analyst

Momnt is looking for a Senior Financial Analyst responsible for financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, management reporting, and analytics.

We need someone who is consistently delivering results that meet or exceed expectations to assist with managing financial performance and implementing finance strategies. You will work through our financial landscape through budgeting, forecasting, financial analysis, and reporting. 

Location: MUST BE Local to Atlanta, GA. The team reports to the Sandy Springs, GA headquarters 3 times a week for collaboration meetings.

Relocation is not available at this time.

As a Senior Financial Analyst, you will:

• Develop and manage the annual budgeting process, working closely with department heads and senior management to set financial targets and forecasts
• Build complex financial models to assess the impact of various business strategies and scenarios on the company's financial performance
• Lead the preparation of presentation materials for the board, investors, and management
• Operate as a finance business partner to various stakeholders and members of the leadership team
• Generate monthly reports using data from various sources and formats
• Design, develop and monitor KPIs, analyze trends, and present drivers of large variance
• Dive deeply into financial data and become a subject matter expert in providing insights
• Assess financial performance against target, including risks and opportunities to the plan
• Develop new processes when necessary and identify process improvement opportunities
• Performs financial and ad-hoc analysis as requested
• Performs other duties as assigned which are reasonably within the scope of the duties in this job classification

You'd be a great fit if:

• 5+ years of progressive finance experience in an analytical role
• Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, Data Analytics
• Advanced Excel skills (VBA, Pivot tables, Xlookup, Index, Offset, Indirect, Date/Time Series functions)
• Advanced knowledge of NetSuite ERP and NetSuite Planning & Budgeting (NSPB)
• MS Office 365 experience 
• Experience with Google Sheets, Docs and Slides tools
• Strong analytical, financial modeling, and quantitative skills
• Highly inquisitive
• Financial reporting and analysis experience
• Experience with full three statement (Income statement, balance sheet, cash flow) modeling

Nice to have:

• MBA in Finance/Accounting or Masters in STEM
• Finance certification (CMA, CFA, CAIA, FRM, etc.)
• Mix of finance and accounting experience
• Experience in building dashboards
• General understanding of GAAP
• Experience with Capital Markets
• Experience with investor relations
• Fintech Experience
