SENIOR FINANCIAL ACCOUNTANT

POSITION DESCRIPTION AND KEY MEASURES

Department – Finance

Location – Support Centre USD

Report to – Finance Director – Americas

POSITION PURPOSE AND EXPECTATION:

This position is for an experienced Senior Financial Accountant who will work strategically with the Finance team and reporting to the Finance Director – Americas. This position would suit a candidate who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is looking for the next challenge in their career with the opportunity to partner closely with the business to drive growth.

The Senior Financial Accountant will be responsible for:

• Assisting with month end close

• Management of Sales Tax & Compliance

• Reconciliation of Credit Cards

• Cash Flow Forecasting

• Management of accruals & prepayments

• Preparation and/or review of GL reconciliations

• Support for senior management on ad hoc matters as they arise

• Ad hoc analysis as required

• Business process improvement

Skills & Attributes:

• 5+ years of experience

• A capacity and desire to support peers in the wider team

• Excellent oral and written communication

• B.S. in Accounting with strong accounting and analysis skills

• Demonstrate effective levels of data analysis skills, process improvement

• Understanding of best practice finance systems

• Excel – Intermediate level

• Microsoft office products

• Experience in use of finance systems including Oracle

• Retail accounting experience desirable
